Heating pad vest changed my life (not exaggerating)

Ok I never post about products because I hate when things feel like ads but I need to tell someone about this. I got a heated vest — the kind with a battery pack that hunters use? — and it has been an absolute game changer for my fibro pain. I wear it around the house when I'm flaring and it's like having a heating pad on my whole back and shoulders simultaneously. I got mine on amazon for like $45. The battery lasts about 6 hours on medium. Before this I was juggling like 3 different heating pads and still couldn't get coverage on my whole back. Now I just zip this thing up and go about my day (or my couch, lets be real). Anyone else found random non-medical products that ended up being really helpful? Im curious what other weird solutions people have found

ok wait WHAT. a heated vest?? like a hunting vest?? why have i never thought of this. im literally looking this up right now. my entire upper body has been screaming this week and ive been rotating between a heating pad on my shoulders and one on my lower back like a pain DJ which one did you get? do you have a link?

I got one of these last winter and can confirm — game changer. I wear mine under a hoodie so it's not even visible. My husband calls it my "stealth heat" lol The only downside is you have to remember to charge the battery. I've forgotten a couple times and been very sad about it.

My weird non-medical product that helps: one of those massage guns that athletes use. I got mine on sale for like $40 and I use it on my shoulders and legs when they're locked up. The deep percussion somehow loosens things that stretching can't reach. Also: silicone jar openers from the dollar store. I have one in every room.

Oh honey I have a heated blanket, a heated mattress pad, a heating pad, AND one of those rice sacks you microwave. My electric bill is what it is. When you're in pain you do what works. I haven't tried the vest though. That sounds wonderful for when you need to actually move around the house. Going to look into it.
